Factors Resulting to Acne and Acne Medicine

You may not be able to completely cure your acne but there are quite a number of acne medicines, which may help you in getting rid of your acne.

Acne is a skin disease inflicting the majority of the world's population. There are many factors resulting to this skin disorder, many of which may occur simultaneously. These may include the impairment of the immune system, digestive and internal detoxification system (responsible for releasing the toxins from he body to avoid body toxicity). Also, included in the list is stress that is proven to have caused the onset of acne for most people and is known to aggravate the condition for many acne sufferers. The body's reaction to the chemicals composing the food items consumed by the individual, such as the enzymes and hormones in meat. Further, hormonal imbalances may also cause serious acne outbreaks.

But this would not have significant effects if not for the action made by the acne-infecting bacteria living on the human skin.

Ultimately, acne roots from the bacterial infection in the skin. Propionebacterium acnes thrive on the excess sebum produced by the skin oil glands called as the sebaceous glands. This in itself is caused by multiple factors like the one mentioned above. Once the body identifies that a portion of the skin is being subject to bacterial action, the body sends whit blood cells to combat the infection caused by the bacteria. By this action, a portion of the bacteria and the cells will die and will accumulate in the pores of the skin. If this occurs, natural inflammation will form in the skin which can further exacerbate, turning into serious acne breakouts. There is no known acne medicine for this. The same is true with the other factors potentially resulting to acne. However, there are available acne medicines that can provide treatment for the skin disease.

Additionally, "P. acnes" are recognized as non-toxic bacteria but it is capable of actually causing a number of serious infections like intravascular infection. However, to this date, there is still no developed acne medicine to combat this condition.

Acne medicine may come in many forms. But most are orally taken or those that can be identified as systematic acne medicines. These are normally composed of antibiotics that work by killing the unfriendly elements entering the body, specifically the bad bacteria. If this is not controlled and allowed to spread to many vital organs, the harmful bacteria may cause many complications that may lead to serious diseases.

Another form of acne medicine is through topical treatments. Benzoyl peroxide is the most common form of this sort.

Acne medicines may have varying effects on different persons, depending on the severity of the case and the body's tolerance to the acne medicine. Not all treatments may work for most patients, as it is believed acne is a "case to case basis" skin disorder.

Advice from many experts suggests that preventing the occurrence of the factors mentioned above may greatly decrease acne breakouts but this is often not easy to attain for most are normally occurring internally. The causative influences like that of the oily skin may be controlled with oil controlling products. This in itself may not be an acne medicine, but may nonetheless work like such.

In the end, the best acne medicine is prevention.
